Initiate B x2
Then for MED and RPRF

My case was not sent to ECU, it was sent to IMS................ what does it mean?
what is difference , if the file is sent to IMS instead of ECU?

1. If it's SELDEC-4, in all probabilities it would be reassessed... though I hope not.
2. IMS = Immigr. & Medical Services Div. [IMHO in the usual sense]... it probably is logged by another 'staff' of ur VO not the IO. Usually the IO wouldn't log such - they being the IMS themselves. But it's an IMHO pls note that.

on other hand they have mentioned that they r satisfied with education, experience ,pof etc.......... and they have asked IMS to initiate Background check for me and my spouse and Then issue Medical and RPRF....

In my caips, i got seldec 04 and in the notes section its written, satisfied, all selection criteria met, positive selection decision entered and interview waived, could it still go for "re assessment"?

frm wat I see, they don't have any concerns wid ur file, neither security wise nor Doc wise(both education and experience docs)

forget Seldec 1 &4, ur applications seems to have satisfied them

The "4" ones [of 2010 mostly] r with ECU... for further reAssessment(sic!).

How will we know this in GCMS ? Cos there is no SELDEC 1,2,3,4 ... ???

C50 letter corresponds to the C50 bill passed for starting the MI and the MI says that the cases should be finalized in 12 months that's it so don't worry about anything and you will get the DM in 12 months the SELDEC 4 will turns into SELDEC 1 when admissibility checks are completed and what I think is that there is no such thing as reassessment as the IO has full responsibility

What I have observed over this forum for MI 1 applicants is that the applicants from NDVO, who received CAIPS after getting In Process with dates, their SELDEC was 1. Whereas for London applicants who received 6 to 12 months wait letter and got CAIPS afterwards, their SELDEC was 4. Why there are procedural difference when all Visa offices have to follow the same operational bulletins. They could have finalised the selection at the same time. Anyhow before doing the points calculation they do satisfy themselves with the authenticity of those. So why these operational variances?

Hi All
One of forum member "UZB" received CAIPS Notes in which it is clearly mentioned "conditional positive seldec entered" and has marked Seldec 1 while in all other cases positive seldec entered in caips notes with Seldec 4. It shows that seldec 4 mean postive selection decison while Seldec 1 mean conditional selection decision.

from my GCMS note received in march, d PAper screening assessment from Accra VO dated 8/8/2011 awarded me 70 point and had no concerns on file but also mentioned PENDING BUT NOT YET REQUESTED: RPRF,MED* 3 O/S: SELDEC:To PA pending review by an officer.My due date for MED,SEC,ELIG,CRIM was 2012/05/04 which as since passed. I want to know if SELDEC HAS BEEN DONE ON MY FILE. Thank, awaiting ur reply
