My PGWP expired on December 1, 2019 and with work permit support letter I applied for closed work permit with proper documents from my employer. While my application is on processing for 66 days, I intend to apply for study permit in mid February this year. For some unavoidable reasons I don't wish to apply for PR until I get my study permit. Following ones are my questions:

1) When will my implied status end?
2) Can I apply for study permit while waiting for a decision on work permit application?
3) If I can, what will be my current status in application form for study permit? Please note, there is no "implied status" as an option, and surely I don't have a valid TRV either.
4) Considering the worst case, If I get negative decision for both WP and SP, do I have to leave Canada? What should be my approach then? Please suggest me. Thanks in advance!!
