Seeking clarification regarding express entry

Hi,
I am from India and i am confused. I just wanted to make sure whether i am eligible for canada permanent residence. Could someone give me some advice or guide me through it..!! The things i want to know is, i was under protection visa in Australia for 5 months, will that affect my process to take a permanent resident visa to canada.

Being under protected status in Australia will not impact the process as long as you are 100% honest about your immigration history.
