Can someone provide us with updates please? What's the timeline for security screening?

never worked in any gvt related jobs or did any of the things that can trigger the security screening. except one time I was rejected a visa for a missing document which I have corrected. All marked as no concern. Yet stuck in this since October 2024, security screening alone is 1 year already

I am from Serbia. The last information I received is that CBSA is reviewing my military background, even though I never served in the regular army.
Instead, I chose the civilian sector and was involved in an association for disabled persons.

I did multiple times to IRCC and to CBSA. From that I can see last update is review by CBSA on June 2025, and from MP I found out that is still on review.

I’m an in-land applicant submitted my application in Nov 2023, moved to A34 screening by in Dec 2023. I has been over 30 months now and counting !!!!

I have been in Canada and received multiple work permits and yet my TRV application has been stuck for more than 2 years now!
No military or government job background !

I didn't ask a question, to find an answer! I simply left a comment here to share my experience for others with similar situation.

My family just received our ecopr after more than 2 yrs BC PNP Non ee. Thank you for everyone here. I was always just checking this forum while waiting for updates. I hope everyone gets their PR soon.

Could you please share your experiences with the comprehensive security screening?
I submitted my outland application on November 27, 2024, and I entered comprehensive security screening on March 18, 2025.
Everything is completed except this screening.

Hello, I've been on comprehensive SS for 2 months (started in mid-march). No military service or govt jobs, no criminal record, no travel history and relatively safe COR, however I had a 1-year exclusion order from Canada 10 years ago for a visa overstay.

So it is alomost 17 months and still no update?

I was placed under comprehensive security screening because I am from a country experiencing conflict, even though I have no military background

Hi All
I am currently in Canada I am Pakistani national, I have been working in Saudi Arabia and. I submitted my Permanent Residence (PR) application on September 17, 2022. I have contacted IRCC multiple times and was informed that my application is still pending due to a third-party background check. This background check began on January 24, 2023, and since September 20, 2024, my application has been under a comprehensive background check (A34) with CBSA. Despite the passage of over 30 months, the background check remains incomplete.
It has now been more than 33 months since I submitted my application.

I know we all are on almost same board
