Security check on travels

Hello,

I have a concern regarding the statement of periods that I have been travelling.
I have travelled a lot during the last 10 years, and am no longer holding the old passport. I can show my travels that I have done recently and proving them by sending copy of stamp on my new passports, but what should I do for the previous travels which I don't remember, or maybe those of which stamps were on the old passport???

Is this gone cost me troubles? Do security check mean that I will be checked for ALL my travels, even the ones I haven't stated in the form?? Will my entries and exits to an from different countries be tracked?

Write a detailed Cover letter, its importance cannot be less emphasized.

Go through your mind and jot down everything you can remember.

Security checks is a (in my opinion) a different process. In today's time and age, everything is centralized and online (data base etc)...No one knows the exact details of security checks, except the agencies or someone with info.

Travel history documents as per se (again my opinion) does not mean that you are gonna be scanned according to it, my reason to think like this is, that anyone can lie and not mention places they have been to. Probably agencies/Interpol maintain a data base of undesirable individuals, and probably that is what the security check is all about.

Be truthful in everything you submit. If you are forgetting something, write a letter detailing your point of view.
