Second AOR from CHC by email or post?

Hi All,

I have a friend and he received his AOR from Buffalo by email, but I read some threads and it seems to me that some visa offices will only send AOR documents by post.

My CHC is Singapore.

Hi Mate,

Logically when one has given email, it should be through that, but I have recieved by post, and it is regular post, no corier.

actually i recieved my second AOR by post from london although the first AOR was recieved by mail

I too received my 2nd AOR through post... My Visa office is London.

I think the first one which you get by email (if provided) is called Initial Assesment and 2nd one what you get from local visa office (CHC) is called the AOR and to my knowledge its sent by postal mail though you would have provided email in the forms.

It seems that only Buffalo sends AOR by both email and post.

yes and along with your's 2nd immigration file number related to your visa office for correspondences and electronic check for your status
