Hello Kabayan,

It is always advisable to submit the most recent documents. If you submit an older document, IRCC may or may not ask for the updated one. So better to be safe than sorry.
Understood.

Btw regarding the IMM1294e form, it only provides 3 slots for employment history. Do you have an idea what to do in case I need to add more? Or should I just include the top 3 latest employment details? I need at least 5 slots.

What I did for mine, kabayan, was list the top three. Since I also submitted my resume which enumerates chronologically my work history.

Hi Kabayan,!

May I ask what National Identity Document did you used for IMM1294? Thanks
Hello kabayan,

None, since we don’t have a national ID implemented when I applied. Government issued ID acceptable before were drivers license, SSS ID, NBI clearance and Passport.

If the unified ID is now implemented in PH, you can use that. Last I checked from our consulate office here, the unified ID was still optional. But that was back in February

Still for IMM1294, I noticed that there's a part there that I need to indicate the cost of my studies:
Tuition ---> My tuition fee in Carleton University is in the range of 18,000-22,000 CAD, but I only paid for 20,000 CAD since it is acceptable because it is within the range as per the graduate studies dept. What should I input? The amount that I paid or the 22,000 CAD since it is the max amount?
Room and Board ---> 10,000 CAD
Other ---> Do I need to fill this up or I can leave it blank?
Funds available for my stay ---> Should I input the amount of money indicated in my bank statement?

Hello ulit kabayan,

Tuition - put what is listed in LOA
Room and board - My LOA have an estimated room and board cost. This is what I put in my form IMM1294
Others - I left this blank
Funds available - My GIC deposit amount (Since I applied under SDS. Tuition for 1st year already paid and receipt attached under “additional client info”)

For funds available it is the GIC amount + Tuition feed amount that I paid? Should I also include some pocket money? Any thought?

Hi Kabayan,

Ask na ko na dn pla regarding sa statement of bank account. Ano ung usual na nkalagay na detail dun? Ung deposit and withdrawal ba and ung date kung kailan gnwa ung transaction? Is it the same as statement of bank account? BDO is providing us a document but it is a statement of bank account.
We are confused if there's a format.

In myy application, kabayan, I only put the GIC amount. But, yes, you can include everything that you can provide.

The bank statement must have the history for at least the past four months (better if six), to show that you did not just dumped a large amount into your account. I did not include a bank statement since I applied under SDS. The only financial document I provided was my GIC deposit. Receipt of tuition paid was attached to show I already paid 1 year. I only provided my past ITRs to support my COEs.

Hi Kabayan,

In your SDS application. Did you also include the requirements indicated in IMM5836 (Study Permit Manila Visa Office Instruction)? Also, it is mentioned there that I should attach the IMM5836 on the top of my application.

Hello kabayan,

Yes, I attached 5836 pero binalik din ng VFS, not needed na daw.

Understood.

How did they returned it? You submit via online right?

After you send all the documents for the application did the embassy called you for an interview/ validation? Thanks

Back in 2018 kabayan, paper application kami. Submitted my documets at VFS Manila and they checked everything if complete. Then the following day, I created my gckey account and linked my paper application.

No more interviews. I received my approval after 5 weeks at my gckey, with an instruction to pick up my stamped passport from VFS the following day.
