School books - Grade 6 and Grade 9 (Calgary)

We are moving to Calgary shortly and request anyone who has children in Grade 6 or Grade 9 to share the name of the books that their child studies in school, typically for Mathematics and Science. This is just to get an idea of level of education that can be expected in Canada. Also advise if these books are available as soft copy. Thanks.

my one daughter is in garde 5 and other will go to grade1, Please help me what kind of education system is there in calgary, at present they are in O level system.

Do we need to pay for books and if yes approxi how much does it cost.
Do we need to apy school bus fee if yes how much approxi.
How about stationery items.

I mean schooling is free but how much overhead we have to pay approximatly
