Hello all!
I applied for study permit on 8th April for MS Economics degree with full scholarship.done with medical on 28th june. Now,I got this message to provide proof of my own funds.Could anyone please guide me about how much funds do I need to show when almost everything is covered in my scholarship?

Thanks
:)

you need to show 1 year tuition + 10k living + 2-3k miscellaneous, even tho you are fully funded you need to show this to prove that you can still support yourself even if the uni decides to cut your funding. Showing that you can fund yourself even though you have uni funding will make your application stronger. Good luck

Thanks. In case if I am unable to provide a proof of my own funds.is there any chance of getting study permit?

Only if your scholarship covers the entire amount jonsnow listed (i.e. 1 year tuition + 10k living + 2-3k for travel). Otherwise you should be expecting a refusal.

My scholarship cover tuition fee and 10k living but not 2-3 k for travel.would it be fine if I submit a bank statement of around 2-3 k?

Yes. Make sure you include evidence of the scholarship and amount.

Thanks.I already provided my scholarship letter to them when I applied online in April.
Is there any requirement for the time period in which funds remain in the bank account?
