Hi,

As far as I understand, you do not have to study during scheduled breaks. Is the Summer term always considered a scheduled break or does it vary from uni to uni?
I study at York and my registrar's office has no idea about the concept.

I am primarily interested if I could be a part-time student in Summer.

Summer is typically a break period for most university students. However you can certainly take courses part time if your courses are offered in the summer.

I don't really know if it is. I applied only to Dalhousie, Memorial and York. Was accepted everywhere without any problems.
York gave me 90 transfer credits (~3 years).
