Hi Seniors,

I am applying for my wife's sponsorship to Canada. Her side of family has : 1)Father 2)Mother 3) Two married sisters.....But only she has to come to Canada. No on else.

In the Schedule A Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) has a clause "must complete their own copy of this form ".............Does it mean that we need to fill 4 forms......one for each family member respectively OR only one form for her.

Pls clarify as the guide does not explain this point clearly.

Regards

In your case, only your spouse. The concept of importance here is immediate family (of the spouse and principal).

Sorry, but can you pls explain more.....father ,mother and sister are immediate family so if its about immediate family the forms should be filled for these persons too. Isn't it ?

Your immediate family. You, your spouse, your kids. Not adult children of adults (like her and her parents) and adult siblings.

Father, mother and sister are NOT immediate family in IRCC term. Once she is married, you and children of hers (if any) are immediate family.
