Hi,

I am the prinipal Applicant applying for Federal Skilled class so accordingly in the form "Schedule 1-Background Declaration" I am checking the box 'The Principal Applicant".

In my husband form will he be the principal applicant or he will check the other 'Spouse box'.

Meena

He will check Spouse or Common Law Partner

Somebody told me before on this Forum only that in his case he will become the applicant and will check that box.

Please guide.

When your husband is completing Schedule I Background Declaration, then he will check Spouse Box
When you husband is completing his Additional Family Information Form, then he will be Applicant and you will be his spouse and then he will give details of his parents and siblings..

Thanks a lot SK.

Also at this time do I have to send photos or that would be the next step.

I read on the site and its written there that photographs are not required at this stage.
"Photos are not required when you submit your application to the CIO in Sydney. However, you should still prepare your photos in case you are recommended for further assessment at a Canadian Visa Office."

Hi, to answer your question, yes there should be no photo to be included with your application to Sydney. Save those photos for submission with your full application to your visa office.

No photos at initial stage, but u can paste one for each, if u want

The Form "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada' has a space for photo.

I will not be pasting any photo here?

Meema

You can paste and its better to paste

Ok so I would be pasting it.

Thanks a lot. Hopefully I would send my application tomorrow. I am ready with everything.

OK 1 thing more according to checklist we have to give our postal address on 2 blank sheets. Will that be in English or Hindi. If in English only; do we have to write or we cna take the prinout.

Meena

One in English and One in your official language.... Type in Computer and print it out but that should be mailing labels.. I means Labels should be small enough to be pasted at envelop later on

OK but in Hindi we cannot type we will write it.

Correct.
