Almost one and a half month back I sent courier to my husband with my signed documents. Unfortunately the courier got lost somewhere and we wasted a lot of time due to it. Now 2 weeks back I again sent courier to him with my signed papers. He filled all of the applications I just sent him the papers which required my signatures. Before sending, We rechecked each and every number of the pages on each application so that we we end up on same pages (for example Page 6 of 7 / Page 4 of 7) but now when he clicked “Validate” in the application, the page numbers changed because of the addition of the barcode. He called and asked cic whether difference in page number is an issue or not the officer told him it is an issue ask your spouse to courier the documents again. But as we have already sent the courier twice, we have already wasted lots of money and time he told the officer about it and he said ask your spouse to sign and scan the documents and send it to you and you submit it along with an explanation.
I’m really sorry for the long post, but I’ve seen many experienced people here please let me know if this is going to be an issue or not. If along with the explanation we provide them evidence of both the receipts and the couriers we did. I’m really tensed and confused.

Scanned and digital signatures aren't accepted - only original signatures are accepted.

So yes - you should unfortunately expect the scanned signature to be a problem. Assuming the figure out the signatures are scanned, CIC will either ask you to resubmit the forms properly signed or return your entire application package unprocessed (probably the second).

Really? Although the officer himself suggested us to submit scanned signatures ?

What officer suggested that?
That was a terrible advise, a CSR from the call center isn't an immigration officer and their knowledge is very limited. It is common of them to provide bad advise and wrong information. You need the original signatures, so you should expect your package to be returned or to be asked to submit the forms again with the original signatures.

I believe cic has a helpline number , where they answer any of your queries related to immigration process. My husband usually calls there if we have any doubts. So he called there and told them about our situation and the officer suggested him this process; scanned signatures

Like I thought. The call center agents often provide inaccurate information, unfortunately.

So there is no other way except that I’ve to send the courier again?
Also, does the difference in page number really affect the overall application? Keeping in mind each and every info they asked is provided by us

Yes, it has to be the same page number because it affects the bar codes. You will have to fill them out completely and then sign them. You can complete all the forms, sign them, and then mail them to your husband with everything filled out but his signature, assuming he fills out his own share of the forms, either by giving you the information or by doing it together at the same time with you.

I’m really sorry to bother you, even a LOE along with it won’t help?

Also I know a friend who recently immigrated to Canada under Spousal work permit. All of her process was done online and the signature part , she signed and then scanned it. Her agent recommended her this way.
And her application did get accepted. Is that because it’s a different case? Im applying under Spousal PR

Two completely different process. You cannot apply online for Spousal PR sponsorship. Even a letter explaining it would, at most, help so they don't return the application, but they would definitely ask for original signatures. A letter explaining it would also tell them right away that the signatures are scanned, so it could also mean they would return the application immediately after finding that out. You should mail the forms again with the original signatures, that is what I recommend.

Okay, it’s clear now. Thanks a lot.

Okay so my husband called cic helpline again, and there was another officer who clearly rejected the scanned signatures. However, he seemed quite sure that there is not going to be any issue with the page numbers being different as long as the information we provided is complete. My husband inquired from him again and again and he seemed very confident that it’s not an issue at all.
Should I still send another courier or you guys think it’ll work? Because other than that all of our information is complete. We have arranged each and every document required, including tons of supporting documents as well.
Oh and one more thing, the size of our pages differ because where I live the standard size is A4 paper but in Canada it’s letter size. So the paper is obviously gonna stand out from the rest of the application.

So the first CSR told you the page number was an issue but the scanned signatures were not. This CSR told you the page number is not an issue but the scanned signatures is. How reliable are they? I don't know if the number in the pages would be an issue or not, to be honest. I remember when applying for a TRV it was an issue and my application couldn't even be sent with those discrepancies in the page numbers. Perhaps someone else can jump in and clarify.
