Your concern is in regards with saudi and canada democratic relations ?

So you got the invitation . And all the process is done except police clearance . By the way what do you mean by ppr. If you are concerned about police clearances . It can be wavered by providing reasons and justification

Yes my concern is about democratic relation between the two countries and how it could affect our applications.
I submitted the police certificates last year and my eligibility ,medical, and criminality all passed except security which is in progress.
Ppr =passport request for pr visa.

I would say don't worry about it. Background check can still be conducted I believe.

I asked my agent abt the on going issue. He mentioned all these issues are related to govt level and any expat individual should not be affected linving in saudi arabia.

Just want to ask you about the process for applying pcc and how much time it will take and cost if we are applying in Riyadh.

Thanks for the encouraging reply I hope we will get ppr InshaAllah.
I am May 2018 AOR & moved to IP2 on 8th August, in the midst of current affairs. So don't worry they are still working.

For ksa you will not send pcc with your pr application. You will receive a request letter via email from your visa office, you will then get it attested by ministry of interior and take the attested letter along with passport and iqama to police head quarter to apply for pcc.
Pcc from ksa doesn't take much time and cost. I got mine in 10 days. I applied from Jeddah, no idea about Riyadh .
The whole process is written at www.canada.ca
