@ Hasni: having saudi PCC is not a proof of u r residensy status...you can get saudi PCC even when u have left saudi many years frm now..thru saudi embassy abroad.regarding translation of iqama..you can go to any translator in riyadh and they will do it.

Further VO checklist (London), says at the start that all the applicants from Pakistan will send their applications to London !
Please clarify, i am bit confused here, as i have already put London, as my VO and dont have iqama translation in hand ., ????

hi , can you pls let me know too if you find someone who can notarize our documents
and which documents need to get notarized because in the visa office specific guide of london its just the employment contract that needs to get notarized but im getting an impression from this forum that there are other things that need to get notarized too like secondary education certificates and the national id cards specially of pakistanis..

western union and al rajhi don't make bank drafts for canada, SAAB does as already told by aspire.but i don't have account in SAAB.Opening an account and then getting a draft from there would consume couple of days.so keeping it as a last resort, i request fellows to share any other bank from where i can have this draft without opening a bank account.I do have account in NCB, but not aware whether they do it or not, i will check from NCB tom but if anyone knows of any other option, please share. thanks

I opened an account in Saudi British Bank for the sole purpose of purchasing a bank draft. I was able to purchase a bank draft on the same day (right after) I opened an account with them.

Good news is that NCB also makes it, just now got it from NCB, yesterday got my iqamas translated into english from malaz, but no notary, and would let it go like that.Translator sealed it well and says that just let it go like that.
One thing, my iqama is going to expire in July'2011, should i write a small note telling them that its gets renewed by the company through a regular procedure on yearly basis or just no need.thanks aspire, your help has been quite useful.

If you are an expat residing in Saudi Arabia, and applying Canada immigration to CHC London, you need to submit copy of your iqama with the english translation attached. This is their basis of determining the visa office who will process your application.

hi, i want to know where to get a pakistani id card which is in urdu translated to english in riyadh..most of the translators don't do the urdu translation..and whether we have to get the translations of the iqama and the NIC notarized or just their translation would be enough..

let me try and make your life easy, dear look if you have enough of docs for english trans and notary, best way is to send them to pak and get it done from there, if you send now, you will get them back within 10 days max.And if you dont want to do it, i will send you a scaned copy of the format for cnic english translation, just take it to any translator and ask him to fill it and put stamp.
It is always recomended to get the translation notorised, but some translators put very nice seals and have quite impressive letter heads, and also claim that you send their translated docs anywhere in the world without notary, i know one such guy in malaz.

Approximately how much time is required to get the passports back?
If our passports r send back to Riyadh embassy, should we have to collect it from there.

Send your PPs through FedEx or DHL.They will take around 6 weeks to reach you back.Your PPs will send by London to Riyadh Embassy who will send you PPs thru Aramex.Are you in Riyadh?
