Guys, I got my 4th line update a week back confirming "Decision Made" . I have not received Passport request yet. How long will it take for me to get my PPR.

How did you get the PCC without PCC request?

Dear Friends,

I have received PCC request from Saudi & India.

I took PCC from Saudi 4 months ago, Is it valid or i have to take fresh one,

Please suggest

I mean I am asking this because I am going on vacation in july.
And if PCC request comes in my absence, it will be hard for me to get it. I would have to come back in the middle of my vacations.
If there is a way to get PCC without the VO letter, let me know so I shall acquire one while going on vacation.

First,Thank you all for your help all through.

We completed our Medicals.We sent our passports for stamping.

Meanwhile I have few queries which I would be really grateful if anybody could answer for me:

Before we move permanently to settle down in Canada, we would like to make a short visit and complete our landing procedures and apply for PR Card and come back without PR Card and Our friend will collect our PR cards on our behalf on their Postal Address and will courier them to us outside Canada address.

My Queries:

1. For the first time, Can we stay for a week or two and make arrangements for our PR Card to be collected by someone else(Friend) on our behalf and courier our PR Cards to us? Is this OK as per CIC rules?

2. Or if someone else collects our PR Card on our behalf, can it create problem for us later on?

3. Are we allowed to specify the address of our another Close friend who reside in Montreal,Quebec province for receiving the PR Card ?(but We will settle in Toronto only)

As we don't have any relatives in Canada, we are concerned.

1. Yes, you can do that.
2. No, it wont create any problem.
3. Not sure about that. However, you can use UPS mailbox service in Toronto for receiving and forwarding your pr card to your international location.

Dear all , I need urgent help
I am currently residing in Saudi arabia while my wife is living in Egypt , 2 days ago I received emails asking for medical examination in 30 days and police certificate in 60 days , the problems are:
1- for the medical examination I can not open the panel list , and the riyad office is not helping at all , I have tried to press the arrow next to the word country on this site several time but nothing happens, does anyone has the list of panel physician in the eastern region please namely alkhobar
2- my wife is currently residing in Egypt and she is not a legal citizen anymore ( we had final exit last year and I re came to saudi arabia just one month ago) , is the saudi police certificate also necessary to her , putting in mind that the canadian embassy is closed in Egypt due to security reasons.
3- I tried to contact the canadian embassy in Riyad to send me the police certificate papers, but they did not reply by any mean , what shall I do?

please advice me urgently as the time offered is very limited.

Hi,

Try to use another computer to open the panel web site . It works .

Go to your Egypt embassy in Saudi, request them to give you a letter which will be address to the Saudi police department . Your embassy should mentioned the purpose as for Canadian immigration. I have done it this way.

Do not call any embassy for your wife medical. Just open the web site and find doctor details in Egypt. send your wife there to do the medical. In my case my son was not in Saudi he did medical in home country and I did it here in Saudi .

Hi,

1. While you are getting PCC for yourself here in Saudi , the same time ask the officer about your wife case he may guide you.

2. Ask your wife to call the Saudi Embassy in Cairo and request the embassy to guide her on how to record the finger prints and get Saudi PCC. The embassy may refer her to a center in Cairo where she will record the finger prints and then they will send it(the finger prints) to Saudi. In shaa Allah you will then get PCC FOR YOUR WIFE too.

Go to the Pakistan embassy (take pics, pp copy, iqama copy),
Fill the form for Saudi PCC request, pay the fee and get it signed,
Go to ministry of foreign affairs (MOFA), get it stamped here with a fee,
Then submit it to the local police station.
They will issue PCC in Arabic in 10 - 15 days.
Get it translated.
NOTE:
For all above 18 yrs
For Saudi PCC all applicants have to go to the police station for finger printing.

Nowadays, normally Riyadh Visa office ask to submit passports through VFS Global. If you get the same instructions then follow it...
