Hii guys, I need some help to start a process of sponsorship, my husband is living in canada and we are starting the process then i can go to live with him, but we r kind of lost to start that.
We got information that I need to do the examination to attach to the application before submit it but when I called to mark the appointment with the doctor he said to me that I need a IMM code of an application tht I need to fill before do the examination... but the problem is that i dont know which application is this one, anybody knows?
Well i got completely lost, anybody knows how to start this process in Brazil - Brasília?

Hello people! Welcome aboard!!!

Luckif, I believe things has changed since I did my application. I'm not sure, but I think now you have to apply first, then they will ask you for your medicals. I believe somebody here went through it. I think it was Canadianladyinsp.
Now, with the whole process, take a good look at it and read the instructions well. If you have any questions, come to us, cause I don't even know from where to start helping you.
It looks a whole lot of things to do, but trust me, you'll be fine!

I have good news! I think lol.. My husband received an email yesterday stating that "our application has been processed to the stage where med exams are now required."
So he made the a appointment for next week.

We didn't receive an AOR from the São Paulo office, which I was kind of nervous about, but since we got this, now it know they received it!

I'm really hoping this means they've reviewed our application and just need to know he's healthy now! Haha, maybe not though. It looks like most people on the spreadsheet had their meds done in advance (which wasn't possible for us) so I can't estimate the timeline. But oh well! I'm happy. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Well, congrats to all who is getting things done (and quickly!!!)

It was one month after, around May 4th.
I haven't got my passport back since it has arrived it there today, but I'm already in Sherbrooke, Québec with my partner.
I made a mistake in my form with the dates, so they assume I lived in the usa for more than 6 months, which I didn't.
So, I had to send them another form.

I already paid for them to send my passport back here to Québec through UPS. Now just need to wait

Hey! Yes, super fast! Hope it is back super fast too... My Ecas says "In process" also says they started working on it on the 24th... ;D

Wow! That is super fast! Congrats!
My husband and I are currently in Canada, this time next week our application should be sent out in the mail and the stress of it all will be out of our hands! We are applying outland through Sao Paulo.

Morrigan, do you have any advice as to how you put your application together in order for them to process it so quickly?!
My husband and I got married this summer, we did his medical this summer in Canada, we obtained our police certificates from Brazil & China (we lived there for one year) they are all translated into English and still valid until Dec. We have our marriage certificate plus 4 years worth of photos and relationship history. I don't think there's really anything else I'm missing?!
We are also applying to extend his stay as a visitor here in Canada once we send in our PR application.

Also, how can I get added to the excel spreadsheets?

We got all of my husbands police certs translated. They have to be translated or else they won't be accepted. Are you currently in Canada? Someone on this forum gave me a great translator. His name is Edward and he lives in Alberta, works as a translator and I think at a University. His services are very efficient and professional, and greatly priced! I can inbox you his e-mail.

I've been trying to get in touch with the consulate in SP, the line just rings like theres no one there. Theres not even an automated system... anyone here had any luck so far?

I wrote an email to that Edward when I was preparing my process and he never answered back.
I used this company http://wedotranslations.com/ . I was pretty satisfied with their job.
