For those of us living rurally/remotely, and with 5+ hours' drive-times (in good driving weather) to major centres/cities within our own provinces where IRCC has permanent offices for conducting the tests/interviews, does anyone know whether we can possibly request to have our citizenship applications processed at a nearer but out-of-province IRCC office, or do all citizenship applications have to be processed in-province according to the rules/Law? Does IRCC automatically allocate each citizenship application to the geographically-nearest IRCC office for each rural/remote applicant, or to the geographically-nearest IRCC office in-province?

1. IRCC has itinerant service is all provinces. See: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/find-temporary-offices.html
2. Your local address is based on your residential address.

Hi & thanks for replying. The only in-province Regional Itinerant IRCC office will still be 5+ hours' driving-time for me to get to, but there's a Regional Itinerant IRCC in the next province over which would be only a 2hr drive for me to get to.
