Nope nothing yet :( .

From the timelines I've seen on this forum, ~45 days for PPR after RRPF seems to be a common number. I received my RRPF 10 days after "In process" status, so as of today it's been 42 days from RRPF.

thanks. I am so fed up with staying positive but it sounds like that's all we can do at this moment. I am sure you'll get yours within couple of days ;)

Hi I am confused about one think. I am the main applicant but we are two members in the application (Me and My Wife). My question is that will I be paid RRPF for one person (Only $ 490) or both (490*2) of us? I am confused about that. Please help me. Another question is that do you have any idea, when they ask for the RRPF payment after it changes to in process in website? In my case, it is showing in process since Dec 23, 2013 but have not received any mail from them asking me to pay RRPF.

You have to pay RRPF for both persons i.e. $490 x 2

Cheers !

Hi Jasmin.. Did you received your passport request?? I am still waiting

Hi everyone :D
I have applied for PR under AINP. My current status shows-
Application for PR received on 07 June 2013.
Medical results received on October 2.

I received an email with application number on 02 Aug 2013,
Request for Medical Test on 06, Aug 2013,
Medical tests done on 17 Aug & final test results submitted by Doctor on 14 Sep 2013.

I have checked the status today and shows the above mentioned status.

Can anyone please give an idea about
1) How long it will take the CPP-Ottawa to start processing my application?
2) When I might get the request to pay the RPRF?
3) When I might get the request for submitting the passport?

Thank you all in advance and GOOD LUCK with your application too ;D

Hello Shaks_AB,

I would imagine that in your case your application will be coming into IN PROCESS pretty soon.

Hang in there.

Everyday we are closer.

Thank you AN for your quick response. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I shall keep in touch in this forum and will update if there is any news. Good luck to all of us. Cheers.

Hi everyone! My status has changed to "in process" on 28 March 2014. :) Received the request to pay the RPRF and I have done that right away. Sent the e-receipt by email to CIO and got the acknowledgement reply. Hoping for the best. Good luck to all of us :D

@ Shaks_AB

Congratulation :)

from the time your status was "Medical Received", did you receive any request for additional documents from CIC or it is just the recent request on March 28?

Hello all,

My e-cas application is currently showing the status "In Process" since August 13. I received a request for the RRPF payment on August 24, and paid it immediately on the same day and sent them the online receipt. One thing about the receipt, is that the generated PDF did not contain any of my information, i.e. the name, address fields were blank, so I included them in my email to CPPO-Cost-Recovery.

I have a couple of questions:
* After paying the RRPF, should you receive any kind of confirmation from CIC?
* Should I be concerned that it's been over a month and the status is still "In process"? I've heard that it usually only takes a month to get to the "Decision made" status.

My worries are that they haven't received my payment, which is delaying my application.

Any input would be appreciated.

hi alexb, i hope this helps but i was ask to pay the RPRF just this march and paid it at the same day..i emailed my receipt to them but i edited it first to write my details. one thing though is i got an automated reply from them that they received my email to cost recovery and that my file will be updated. sure enough my status in ecas changes to IP the same day...oh and i didn't took any chances i sent them the receipt through registered mail as well just to be in the safe side

Thank you AINP 2014 ;D

There was no request from CIC for any additional documents since my medical results received. I was requested to pay the RPRF in March 28, 2014 and my status changed to 'In Process'.

I filled the RPRF payment receipt and emailed to the cost recovery and got an acknowledgement reply. I called the 'Call Center' to know if I need to send the hardcopy of the receipt to my case processing center (Ottawa). They said that if they need it, they will inform me. So I didn't bother to send the hardcopy by mail.

Cheers :D
