Hello all,

My e-cas application is currently showing the status "In Process" since August 13. I received a request for the RRPF payment on August 24, and paid it immediately on the same day and sent them the online receipt. One thing about the receipt, is that the generated PDF did not contain any of my information, i.e. the name, address fields were blank, so I included them in my email to CPPO-Cost-Recovery.

I have a couple of questions:
* After paying the RRPF, should you receive any kind of confirmation from CIC?
* Should I be concerned that it's been over a month and the status is still "In process"? I've heard that it usually only takes a month to get to the "Decision made" status.

My worries are that they haven't received my payment, which is delaying my application.

Any input would be appreciated.

Hi there, in the email you send back to CIC about your PDF receipt, you should mention your full name ,UCI , application number and DOB. with receipt as an attachement ,
i have heard people saying that you will not get any status change for paying RPRF. not sure about confirmation. i paid mine last friday sep 20th, havent heard back from CIC.
and from what i understand is you get passport request next, before "decision made" and ususally its around 2-3 months period. hope this helps. good luck to both of us!

Thanks for your input Carina,

I have done just that, included all my details in the email to CIC. Let's hope our passport requests will be done in a timely manner :).

Hey found you here! lol I was told that the PPR would be emailed to the applicant usually a few weeks after the DM status change. Well one of my friends got his PPR and RPRF request 3 days after his status changed to "DM"... now CIC separated RPRF and PPR... so i hope when we were asked to pay that $490, that means our cases are done deals!
Regards.

hey thanks for the reply. about the RPRF fee, is there anyway to tell through your status that you paid that $490? i paid online with credit card , i have emailed them my receipt twice and also faxed, no where shows that i paid. never heard any reply from CIC. is that normal?

thanks a million

Hello

My eCAS status changed to in Process and I received a request to pay RPRF just 13 days after I received AOR. Is that normal.. any one else with that time line?

Thanks

where are you applying from? if its manila office, everything is speedy.

i received RPRF request about 1 week after my status changed to "in process" in Sep.
but i received my AOR in April, i think my timeline is pretty normal for application within canada (ottawa visa office)

Hi Jasmin,

My application also went in in process on sept 24 and i received the request for rprf the same day.. I got aor on sept 11th, and my visa office is also cpp o.. lets keep in touch..

Nope nothing yet :( .

From the timelines I've seen on this forum, ~45 days for PPR after RRPF seems to be a common number. I received my RRPF 10 days after "In process" status, so as of today it's been 42 days from RRPF.
