I'm obsessing tonight, with the holidays coming up I'm seriously sad about being apart from my fiancee again and doing something to occupy my brain...

Anyway, I originally though the right of permanent resident fee was just paid for me ($490x1). But I keep reading that we need to send it for my sponsor too ($490x2)? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, as he isn't getting a PRC, he's a Canadian citizen. Maybe I'm reading these threads wrong?

No, only the one being sponsored has to pay the RPRF, and only then if they are over the age of 18.

What Kenomee said :).

Your fees breakdown will look like this if you're the only one being sponsored:

Right of Permanent Residence fee = $490
Sponsorship application fee = $75
Permanent Residence application fee = $475
Total = $1040

Thank you once again. I was getting so confused!

Ours totals $1680 (I have 4 kids) then and not the $2170 I was thinking, whew.
