RPRF to PPR timing

Hello,

I have paid RPRF fees on 21st Feb and status moved to Background in progress on 22nd Feb. Since then nothing has happened on the file. Is it normal to have this much time gap RPRF fees payment and PPR ?

Did you pay RPRF fees seperately from Application fees ? Also which VO your file referred to, when you got your RPRF ?

you get RPRF request after your application has been approved by the Central Visa Office, and before it is sent to the Local Visa Office. Therefore, getting an RPRF request is a strong indication that you would get your PPR soon. We got our PPR in the 4th week after RFRF.

Are you sure it was RPRF? Because generally you only get 7 days to upload the RPRF receipt...maybe its different in your case?

I was just curious whether there are any updates on your application? I believe you your app has been in the limbo for a really long time?

Just updating for the purpose of this thread, I got my PPR in about 3 weeks from RPRF.

still in limbo. last update on my gcms not was actually the confirmation that rprf was paid, then nothing up until mid december when i ordered notes. showed 1 security activity that's "not started". if they send me a request to redo medicals, i'm cancelling the application.

Does it matter if we have applied under the bc pnp category or express entry for the RPRF?

Once we receive the request for RPRF and medical is it the same processing time for both ?

I have noticed that PNPs take a little longer...but this is all speculations...to be honest nobody can really predict, but just pen down their observations...

nope not yet. still the same status as when i paid RPRF. if i didn't know any better i'd say they stopped caring after they got the money

Have you recently tried to contact these guys? GCMS/Phone conversations?
