RPRF, RE-DO MEDICALS, NEW SCHEDULE A AND PASSPORT REQUEST

HELLO. I GOT A LETTER THAT SAYS THAT MY APPLICATION IS NEARLY COMPLETE. THEY NEED THIS DOCUMENTS AND THEN MY FILE WILL BE REVIEWD AND THEY WILL MAKE A FINAL DECISION. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHY THEN THEY ASKED FOR THE PASSPORT IF THEY DID NOT TAKE A FINAL DECISION YET?

RPRF is paid upfront usually but now they asking for it, means they are ready to issue you visa. Assuming that you are asked for PP copies that is PPR1. Send them the requested docs ASAP and your wait for visa will be over in few weeks.

Do send what is asked to send. Why are you hesitating?

That's just the wording they always use. Why? My guess is, since they may take a few weeks after you send your passport and stuff to go through the paper work and finalize the application, they don't want people jumping the gun and booking their tickets and selling their house and then complaining that they don't have their passports back yet.

Even when they do make a final decision, they will only tell you on Ecas "a decision has been made. A letter has been sent to you regarding this decision." and they don't tell you whether you got PR or not.
