RPRF PAYMENT .

Any one knows how long mississauga takes to process RPRF. I have been asked to pay RPRF which i paid online and send the recipt to mississauga. I sent by express post and it was recived by mississauga Anyone knows how long missisauga takes to process the RPRF fee. (Right of Permanent Residence fee) and does they update online to reflect that fee is recived.?

CIC's website says it can take as much as 2 months. No, they will not update eCAS to show the RPRF was received.

thats a long time to process it. i indicated in my cover letter which i attached to the reciept of payment . that i have exceeded the processing time. does this will make any affects on speeding up the process ? my file been and passed the processing time at cairo visa office. and im still waiting. just paid my fees last week .

No, it won't have any effect. And they receive THOUSANDS of packages in a week, so that may be why it takes so long to process a single payment.

@ fadi pal, my RPRF was processed by Missisauga in 5days because I was asked to make the payment in April 2012 which i did immediately then i mistakenly sent it to Buffalo without sending to misssisauga after reading pples comment i sent another copy to missisauga in July 2012. What i did was that i sent the receipt via email, express post and fax.

I faxed missisauga the receipt and coverletter with a bold heading saying URGENT.

so send a fax missdisauga a fax with a coverletter heading saying URGENT (fONT SIZE 50 Times New Roman) ;D

thank you guys for the input, and yea i did faxed the receipt to Mississauga and i sent it also by post. and emailed the visa office with the copy of the receipt as well. and i had paid that fees year and half ago. all the fees upfront. but some how they didn't have the 490 on cic system. its only shows that 550 was paid ,, i sent a copy to miss and the visa office with the old receipt and called the cic 2 weeks later and they said they have no record of my receipt. it was confusing and tiring. so i decided to pay it again and deal with the first payment later.just to avoid any negative result on my file. and that where i ended up...
