DEAR ALL,

THE VISA OFFICE HAS SENT AN E-MAIL ON THE 28TH TO REQUEST US TO PAY THE RPRF FEES AND TO SEND OUR VALID PASSPORTS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE LETTER.

I SENT THE PASSPORT AND PAID THE FEES ON THE 29TH OF APRIL AND THE PASSPORTS REACHED THE VISA OFFICE ON THE 30TH.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THE PASSPORTS BACK WITH VISAS IN IT? MY VISA OFFICE IS TOKYO.

Shakira2009, hope you see this post as well.

Hi Okshan,

I'm very happy to hear your good news!!!!

I got my passport back after 3 weeks, so maybe you should expect something similar.

Have a nice Golden Week!

Kind regards!

Hi Shakira,

thank you! I am indeed happy. Hoping to get back the passports within three weeks then.

Have a nice Golden Week too!

Warm regards.

by the way did you receive your passports by registered mail or normal mail?

Congrats Oksan for registering the final stage of your ticket to Canada..... It seems Tokyo office is not that fast as I thought... your time line shows it took you nearly 6 months to get the med req nearly 6 months and PPR after 2 months of your med done... I am with the same NOC as you but in different visa office.... still hanging in process after nearly 5 months since AOR..

Anyways good luck for the rest of your process... hope you will get ur visa stamped soon.

Wish me luck for the MAY

Hi,

My passport came in Registered mail. The mailman asked me to put a stamp (hanko) or signature before handing a big envelope to me.

In the big envelope you'll get your passports, Confirmation of Permanent Residence and a letter with instructions. In my case, they also returned a couple of original documents that they didn't use or weren't necessary.

Dear Shakira,

Thanks for the details. Looking forward to receiving mine! :)

I will post another shot out once I get my passports stamped with visa. Thanks for your support and prayers and help. Wishing all of us the best of luck to pursue our dreams.

Btw, I am planning to land end of June if possible in Toronto.

Best Regards to you.

Dear Fariza,

Thanks for your warm wishes. I also hope you receive your medicals and passport request soon. I wish all the members in this forum to get their visas as soon as time permits. We are all sailing in the same boat and I know how it feels to be waiting things to be finalized. Fariza, don't worry and hope to hear your good news.

Cheers!

Dear all friends,

Our file is processing from february
We are performed the medical on 13.04.2010 and I asked the embassy about time line but they not answered.
How time is it take to receiving visa?
Why they not requested for passports with medical together?

Regards

Try sending a case specific inquiry to your visa office and ask for status update. I honestly don't know why but it does take some time and it is normal. I believe patience is the key. In my case, I sent a few case specific inquiries and I was able to get a reply very soon after.

All the best of luck!
