Hi. Anyone applying through Rome Visa Office ? I sent my application to CIC at the end of November and I was hoping the whole thing would be over in Feb since processing time is 64 days. BUT... I forgot to read the VO times. I am a Canadian citizen living in Rome sponsoring my spouse.

Ah Rome... :(
Applied outland to sponser my spouse July 2015. Received SA in a couple months. As for the rest - still waiting. 19 months and counting. We had one delay where we had to send additional documents but that was only 30 days. Received file notes - looks like the hold up is the criminality section, everything else is approved or passed. Even had to redo medicals after they expired - they did not extend them for whatever reason. It's tough not to get discouraged.

Are you the one with the Italian spouse? That time is just outrageous. I think you should start writing strongly-written letters :p

You're sure your spouse does not have some hidden criminality or something?
