I don`t want to order the notes, I am scared what I can find. ;D

It`s really strange what they doing in that VO, we have a common child. I suppose the problem in my case is my child from previous marriage, but I sent notarized document from his father that he allow his son to immigrate.

The people without previous marriages and children have their visas much sooner. That`s only my opinion.

hmm vania you're probably right, more "complicated" cases take more.. still too much in my opinion :( you shouldn't be afraid of what you'd find, if they shoot an interview at you, best to be prepared, hence GCMS notes would definitely help you see what's in the VO's "mind".
Svetlana, you can order GCMS notes here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
you can order on behalf of your sponsor, but he needs to sign an approval, just go to that site and you'll find all the pertinent info. there's also a 5$ fee. you'll get the GCMS notes in aprox. 30 days (or more).

You are right girls. Complicated cases take more time........my case is complicated too..thats why it takes longer. If u have never been in Canada..u dont have kids from other marriages..its very simple and takes less time. I would be afraid of interview :((((((((((

my and Vanias medical expired....that means that they are checking our file veryyyyyyyy good...Vania pray to God!!!!!!!

About 2 months ago I wrote an email to VO that I changed my home address. Also I asked what to do about medical.

They answered me, that they changed my address and i am in a queue for assessment bla bla . No word about medicals, so I hope they would be extended.

After you sign that approval/consent, what you do? Scan or mail the original to the sponsor?

Svetlana, I think it`s our time.

i did not order the GCMS notes yet....do u wanna order them Vania? i wrote them an email in august..and they said that my file is in queue.....12 months in queue...

;D must be a long queue- you and me.

I' m not sure about the notes, I'll see.

Alex's wife landed 3 months ago I think.
They were JJuly application. Recently married, no kids, no previous marriages.

yes vania, Alex wife landed in june. Their case was simple.

vania i think if you scan the consent and send it via PC to your spouse, it's fine. i don't know how the consent form looks, if he has to sign as well pretty sure he can print it and sign it, then scan it again - the request for GCMS notes is anyway made online ... btw who's Alex? July applicant? landed this june??? that's very good :o what's his timeline?

CutiePie he applied in July 2013..and his wife got the visa in june 2014. i wish them the best!!!!

i wish them all the best as well! fast case!
well we have a "simple" case too .. we're young. first marriage, no kids, no previous marriages. only thing i worry about is that CIC will consider that we married too fast..

met online december 2012, face to face july 2013 , married april 2014 ;D still, we spent loads of hours talking to each other when we were apart (at least 5 h a day i'd say) and he stayed 4 months in Romania (in total) before we married (24/7 together since we lived in the same apt), so i hope we're fine as far as CIC is concerned :-X that's why we send a tremendous amount of evidence.. i guess our convo's will get shredded :)

Thank you

it is known that paying the RPRF when they request it delays the process by around a month (we paid all taxes at the beginning in may when we submitted the app).. it won't be so long now, probably you'll get PPR in october ;) don't worry.

Hi everyone! I'm not new on this forum but I'm new on this topic because I just found it today. Before I was seeing and replying on other topics on the same forum. This is my history of my case:
I applied on February 1 and on February 2 2012 the file was received.( The relationship under we applied was : cousins of 1st grade and also I have there a job offer but not in my field). There were no news until 21th of April 2014 when they asked for IELTS and 2 more additional documents. I am not a very good english speaker and for me(I don't have higher grades than highschool, I am a carpenter and carver in wood) was very hard with english. I couldn't register for a IELTS test on april in Cluj (I live in Satu Mare) because the resiter interval of time was over so I had to wait until July to take the test. Meanwhile I sent to Canada office the copy of the rester form of the Ielts test so as to keep my file in process. I took some english lessons (also a year ago I took the IELTS test for the first time without being asked hoping to get a 4 total band score because this is minimum what they ask for, than I didn't take some english lessons from a teacher just a begginers course where i did pretty well and for 1 week i practice with my daughter *she was in 10th grade than* before the exam, unfortunately the final band score was 3.5 and we didn't send it to Canada and one year later we were asked for one) for 1 month or so and the final band score was 4.5 so I was very happy because I knew I didn't spend so much time preparing for test not as much I would like andI know I can do better and I still have a 4.5 band score. I received the test results on 23th July and on 24th July the sponsor family from Canada sent them to the Canadian office. Since than we didn't receive any news, nothing. It's been almost 2 years and 8 months since we applied for SINP in a few months will be 3 years and we did't hear so much from them. We are concernig(me and my wife and also my daughter) what will happend next and when will happend because now my daughter is in 12 Grade she is preparing for entering in medicine college in Cluj for 1 year(she started in 11 Grade) and this will be the second one, she started this process because we are thinking that if the thing with SINP won't work and we'll be rejected , she will have a feature here. But we fear that the answer won't come until she finishes highscool and she will enter into college and than we will be accepted and she will need to gave up to college here (she doesn't want to stay here if we go in Canada beacuse we are doing this for her and she is the one who wanted this move the most. We applied for immigrating in Canada in 2001 too but in Quebec and we were rejected on the interview so we had a tough time than). Another issue that we have is that when we applied for SINP there was said that all childer until 21 are included in the application and a few months ago I saw I believe on the SINP site if I'm not wrong that the limit age is not 21 now, but 19. Our daughter turned 18 on June 16 2014 and we are afraid that we will be accepted only after she will turn 19 in 2015. We don't know what to think anymore. We are waiting for almost 3 years and no news are coming from them , we are starting loosing our hope. This wainting is killing us and we feel like our patience will come to an end soon, we are very discourage in this moment....:(

I hope you are right Cutiepie it would be awsome to be together by christmas .....we have 2 children together that miss daddy
