Hi. Betina how can i ask for GCMS notes???? and the RPRF i was told that i should pay when they ask for it ....

Tnks Betina.
Aleksandr, Betina is right.
If your case is strong, all fees paid and no red flag it's around 9 months.
You can see that Betina is May applicant and you can expect Visa in April/May.
If you have red flag, interview etc. it may be take longer.
It's just suggestion, I don't have a crustal ball.
Wish you speedy process.

This is the application https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en Ask for your wife's file, not yours, so get a consent from her. Ask for it through the Access to Information Act if she is not a resident of Canada.

Pay your RPRF asap, it's the best way. If, for some reason, your wife will not get her visa, it will be refunded in less than a week.

CutiePie92,
Ask your questions now, because Betina is leaving. :D
And she knows everything.

vania haha suddenly i have no inspiration! :D

hopefully Betina will still be guiding us even if she's (almost) done with everything! :)

Betina is only leaving her country, not this forum. They have internet in Canada, eh? :P

Congrats, Betina!
Hey, where do you send the proof that you payed that last fee?
Vania, thanks for your kind answer, I am not used to raising kids without my husband and it's really hard on the little one.

I have one question for your guys. My wife did police check in Moldova (sometime in july), our application was submited on August. On the police document it says that it will expire in 3 month. On E-cas i only see that they recieved our applications and recieved medical examination. Does it mean that my wife has to go through police check again??. Thanks everyone :)

Dear all
i received an email from the embassy today asking for the sponsor `s questionnaire form we already sent it before why they request it again?also they said that Please provide the above by latest March 16, 2014. If nothing has been received from your end by this date, we shall proceed to the final assessment of your case based on the information/documents already on file. As the required documents are directly related to the final assessment to be made on this application, failure to provide it within the deadline above could lead to its refusal.
what is that mean?i didn't pay the right of permanent yet and they didn't ask to pay it.and in this form there is a question about proofs of intention of the sponsor to return Canada shall i submit the same proofs again or more?actually we don't have another proofs we sent all we have we sent a letter from his sister showing that she knows our intention to move should we submit a photocopy from this letter or ask her to provide another one?also a reactivated royal bank account and some job searching from internet..... please help me
thanks in advance

No, they will ask, if they need new one.
It's normal what you see on e-cas.

Hi remonda ,
This is stadart letter for additional documents.
Don't warry. Just send, what they want.
I think, Betina, wrote you what she did. Their concern is, if you really want to live in Canada. It's better to provide new prove. Pay now the permanent residents fee and provide the invoice with other documents.
I hope, Betina will explane better. She already did it.

People, I would be very interested in this thread soon. My PR has been approved and I have sent in my passport. Now the next steps start: A long process, very long one. Hope it comforts people who are stuck in limbo.

1. Come to Romania to propose marriage to my girl friend of 3 years. Hopefully in time for her bday in 3 months.

2. Hopefully she accepts.

3. Get her here on a visit visa if possible.

4. Get her here on a student visa if the visit visa does not succeed. I find it really silly that Romanians need a visa to visit Canada when they don't need one for the rest of Europe.

5. Get married to her in Canada and then make a decision on inland or outland applications.

Hopefully something works out for us.

i hope she'll accept, good luck to you! :)

as for the visitor visa.. there are slim chances if her husband/boyfriend lives in Canada, the VO will consider you as her strongest family tie. if she has a stable job here, a house, family and all that maybe it could work.. wouldn't bet on it though.. you better try with a student visa. (that was my own personal idea too but when i saw how high the taxes are for international students.. oh well, i dropped it :'( it's much better as a permanent resident)

but why get married in Canada? you can do it here. if you do decide for Canada, choose outland application. inland ones are processed slower.

When she applies for a visit visa she would show no ties to me. She would apply independently. Same with student visa if the visit visa gets rejected.

Yeah, I have to bear the expenses of her studies if she comes here, but thats a small price to pay for us to be together.
I just feel a Canadian marriage certificate would carry more weight. Also after she studies here she would qualify for a 1 year work permit. So effectively we can wait out the PR inland process together in Canada
