She will fly to Canada very soon!!

No news so far for me.

Usual a "medical received" status it's when a decision it's already made after the CIC records and expanations.

As for you, I would say, "bring out the champagne, I will bring the glasses... ;D"

I give you two weeks untill the passport request...

I don't know for myself, never had a "in process" on ecas, but every case it's different...we don't really know what's going on there.

But to tell you the truth that it' not my nr.1 concern, in a week from now I am going to see my husbund in Europe, we are going in vacation for a whole month, that it's my only concern and joy for now ;D ;D; I am going to enjoy this month at his side and from there only God knows.

Of course I would prefer to have my vissa issued before 23 June becouse of my medical test (hard to redo medicals since I am living in north of Romania and only doctor we have for this tipe of medicals we find him in Bucharest, a lot of time and money.... :-\ :-\.

What it's your time line if you don't mind??...not that it's so important but I am just curious, as you can see my timeline it's a record so far for a romanian file... :-\ :-\

We found out that had my wife not gone and asked the VO for the visa, we would have waited probably much longer (maybe weeks if not months). Her argument was very solid though - she had a job offer and her medicals were expiring in less than a month ;D (scary thought at the time).

Hi ,buna seara...Did someone have a clue about for how long takes the sponsorship,being in Canada,I mean inbound? I have a child and he is in Romania,he is minor,and I do not have his father ( MY EX-HUSBAND)support anymore.Can my husband which is a Canadian to adopt him and bring him here sooner or should we put my son in the sponsorship too? Can someone help me with a good advice? Thank you!!!!

As I can see here your wife went to the VO and ask for the visa isssuing...good move though, it was easy since she is living in Bucharest or close to...

Hello Persefona65,

I don't know the right answer to your question, but I think that you could bring your child in Canada with out your husbund adopt him, if you have the full custodie of your child; but that depends also of your ex husbund I think; it's more complicated when a child is involved.

I suggest you put this question to Leon the vip member, maybe he knows the proper answer for you.

hi to everybody,

dear I.N. we submitted the file on 5th of october, received the sponsorship approval on 14th of december and the csq on 30rd of january, my file status has changed to "in process" on 12 of april and in the same day we received an e-mail stating that my "file is in queue ..."

it s funny 'cause my file timeline is so similar to torroloco file timeline

i do hope the waiting is going to be over soon and we will be able to celebrate after this torture period...i miss my husband every moment!

The final decision it's very close, a month or less for you, I hope for me as well, becouse it was really not easy stay apart of my husbund for so long, would be so great to go back with my husbund to Quebec on 10th of June.... after our vacation it's over, let's pray to be so... .

I never received an email about the 'queue', though maybe my wife beat them to it by taking matters in her own hands. It is indeed eerie how close out timelines are, Mrs. Red.

maybe there is somebody who can give me a hint about how much it will take to process the file since "in process" status change...I hope it s around a month ... the waiting is so hard!

and yes, indeed torroloco I m gonna have a big party when i ll get my visa! I m waiting for that moment as I never waited for anything else ever, although I don t really understand this long time period! it s about family reuniting it should be faster! and I saw people posting about their files which were processed so fast! like 3 or 4, 5 months! why this length in other cases?

I know it's the most difficult part of whole this process ''the waiting'' and it should be faster than that, I don't know what's going on really and as for I wonder myself why my file stayed for so long in Ottawa, why even was sent there?? And why my file reached Bucharest only in the middle of January :-\....I guess I will never have an answer of all these questions....

You are right Mrs Red, it's suppose to be faster than that after all it's about people lifes here and familys, I am wondering at times if an immgrant officer looks at a file and he/she is thinking that it's a real life behind all this papers...
