I'm getting my forms together and I made a boo boo. :( I have the checklist for inland and the questionnaire ( imm 5443 and 5285). There is a checklist on the 3910 guide but it's not nearly the same. Does anyone know the correct document numbers for an outland app.?

look on the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
make sure that you really use only outland forms if you're applying outland!

From what I remember you will be filing at the end of the year... so my advise is: don't fill out any form just yet... there might be some changes later during the year. Get yourself familiar with things that need to be done, proofs, etc, but don't fill out the forms, because they might be outdated by the time you will actually send your application. So - just wait a month before you know you want to send everything, and then get the right application package, and go ahead.
Of course you can already prepare the proofs of relationship, the history about how you met, how your relationship developed etc, as that won't change - but at the bottom of the forms there are numbers, and "versions" written.... when you file, make sure that you have the last version, and the best way to do that is to download it directly from the website when you are ready to send everything.
Good luck,
Sweden

You are correct. I'm filing in december (earlier if I can). My fiance just wants the info beforehand. So I got them for examples and so I could start my document gathering. But I won't actually fill in anything yet as things more likely will change by then. Thanks for the reminder though. One tends to get caught up in things.
