My name is Akshay and I am from Pakistan. I have been admitted into Master of Computer Science at Memorial University. I am bit concerned about city life in general. Like are there enough part time jobs to sustain yourself ? what is the overall life quality ? how is the weather? and so on.

I will be extremely thankful if someone could guide me.

There are jobs in things like fast food that international students tend to take. The population is around 200,000. I would say it's known as a nice and quaint place, if a little sleepy. The weather is not the most pleasant all the time (a lot of cold/rainy/foggy days) but there's nothing you can do about that.
