After application of Citizenship Application you will be asked to come to the CIC office for a review of the original documents you submitted in support of your application, as well as all passports and travel documents relevant to the four year period preceding your application.

I am wondering if everybody is called to CIC office to review the documents?

Yes everybody has an interview where the CIC officer will check your original documents. The interview is held right after your citizenship test.

Thanks for the reply. So if someone gets RQ, is it before this interview or after it?

Hi.. please provide complete time line and events on your application if you are over
55 years CIC call to varify the original documents and check and make a short interview
for residence status etc... in some cases after application they send RQ and than after
officer review CIC call for brief interview to verify the documents and check the status
of your residency.. if you are above 55.

if you are under 55 at time of test they verify all documents etc...

The RQ can either be before the interview or after the interview, it really depends on each individual case.
