Hi,

I am already working in Canada. For my current work permit application I obtained a Police Certificate from my home country (about 2 years ago).
Now I am applying under IEC Working Holiday (and will apply through Express Entry soon as well).
My question is can I use the police certificate that I got 2 years ago from my home country for my IEC work permit application?
I did not LIVE in my home country after the issue date of that police certificate, but visited my family for few weeks.

On CIC website I read:
For countries in which the applicant no longer lives, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the client lived in that country.

According to this I think I don't need a new one because I didn't live there after the police certificate was issued? or is the document just too old to be used?

Did anyone have such an experience?
It would be a great help if you share your experience!

Thanks a lot.
