Returning to India after landing

hi,
I have a COPR and I will be landing by September.
I have no family or friends in Canada that the PR card can be mailed to.
Can I return home and apply for a PRTD ?
Or do I have to stay till I get my PR bcoz no one is there to receive it ?

open a UPS post box. there are many threads in this forum about how to do it
