I have an LMIA-exempt work permit and moved to Canada a few weeks ago. I had to return to the US to finish up a few shifts at my old job the past 5 days and am due to return to Canada tomorrow. When doing the advance declaration on the ArriveCan app, it asks the purpose of my visit after choosing that I reside in Canada. The options are personal/in-transit, Study, work/employment, or immigrate. I’m not really sure if I should choose work/employment or immigrate and I haven’t been able to find anything online. Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks in advance.

Work you can’t immigrate without obtaining PR.
