Returning to Canada after receiving pgwp at Canadian address?

Hi everyone
I applied for pgwp on may 22
My study permit got expired on August 31
Haven’t received my pgwp yet
Can i travel to my home country and re-enter after receiving pgwp at my Canadian address?
Also i am working in essential services
Anyone travelled in such situation?
I read something about it on cic site but cant find it now
Any info would be appreciated

If you've been living and working in Canada, you can leave Canada once you have your PGWP and return using it, provided you have a valid TRV if you need it and a 14-day quarantine plan.
