I have submitted PR application a month ago. I had work permit, which expired now. I am on visitor visa, applied visitor record for status resotration. I have valid TRV untill March 2030. Following are my questions.
1. Do I have to leave country if my visitor record application still remains under process for 6 or more months?
2. If I want to go for a short vacation outside country, will i have problem returning? Should I avoid leaving country at this moment?
3. What happens if they reject my visitor record and my PR applicaiton is still under process?

Thank you in advance.

1. No.
2. Nobody can tell that. It's a border officer's call.
3. You will have to leave and wait for PR approval outside of Canada. .
Thank you for a to the point suggestions. It was greatly helpful. I will avoid leaving the country than knowing that, visitor record application processing time is currently over 300 days. I feel I will get PR before I get the outcome of my visitor record.

Thanks again.
