hello

My application was returned last week .during the process of it coming back my child turned 22.can I still sponsor him when i return the application back to cic.this is for family sponsorship .pls help. Thankyou

If the entire app was returned unprocessed, then I believe they do not consider you've submitted any app at this time. So next app (if accepted) will be considered your first one, so will not be able to include child 22 or over.

The only chance would be if the visa officer made some note on the return letter that your app was locked in already or would keep your initial submission date, and you just needed to re-submit.

What was their specific reason for returning it?

I agree with the above unfortunately. Unless your application was 100% complete and it was returned in error - in that case you may have a leg to stand on.

Do you know why it was returned? Was your application complete?

I did not date one of the forms .thats all .they just said also it will be put in the queue once it’s dated properlyb

Well that's a bit vague! Personally, I would leave the application for you to include your child, and hop that they are using the original date of receipt in processing once you date the form. If they don't, they will let you know if he/she isn't eligible.
