Return seized documents back

Hello guys,

My docs got seized at Detroit and I called them to ask about how I get them back but they said they only seize them for one month and then send them to the immigration department. My question: how can I get my documents back now?

Just to give an update i claimed Refugee at Montreal and requested my Passport at Mississauga 6900 CBSA office they told me that my passport is in Montreal and gave me a form to fill so they can get it here told me i will get a call when its here today they called me to come and pick up my seized documents.

I claimed refugee at Etobicoke office, So it means that I can get back my passport from CBSA?

Hi I have claimed refugee and now Iam an permanent resident of Canada I want to take back my official passport which was seized from me and I want to travel to another country to meet my family with that passport can I do that and if yes how can I do that ??
