Hi all,
So I was brought over to Canada on the three-year skilled working visa in 2014 (intro company transfer), before it expired I extended it for a further two years (until March 2019). However I left Canada for a new role in Australia where I’ve been for the last year.
I would now like to not return to Canada on the same visa (working for the same employer) which expires March 2019 and apply for PR.
I would most probably not be in Canada until January, maybe even Feb.
My questions are:
-Can I return on this visa?
-If I can, would I have enough time to apply PR?
-Would Canadian immigration grant me a bridging Visa until an outcome is reached? As I assume 2 months would not be sufficient for PR to be granted.
-If not, can I apply for PR off this visa while living in Australia?
Some clarity as to my options would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
