Retaining PR while working in India

Hello I came to Canada on 31st December 2016 on a student visa. I finished my masters degree got the work permit and got my PR landing done on 24th april 2019. My employer, a Canadian company, is sending me to India to run a project there. Will I continue to complete the criteria to maintain my PR?

As far as I believe, you will be able to fulfill the criteria to maintain the PR with the right paperwork proving that your position abroad. I was hoping that I could also do this, as I am working full time for 2.5 years for a Canadian company, but the position I am in is not required to be abroad. I am wondering if there are any loopholes which I could use to qualify.

Is it a temporary project? I believe that is one of the requirements - that you will temporarily be assigned but will come back to Canada.
