We recently got our PR landing papers & we are planning to do our first entry soon (Jul 11) & within a span of a month we will be exiting back to our home country. But intend to return to Canada in May 2012. I have a few questions, can someone please help me?
1. With regards to retaining the PR card does one need to continiuosly stay in Canada for a minimum of 2 years or is it all put together we need to stay for 2 years or more?
2. If in case of emergencies (ex: death, etc...)we have to travel back to our home country, in the middle of 2 years. Will our 2 years continious stay be broken??? in such cases what do we do???
