Resubmitting my application with supporting documents

Hi,
Need help.
I have sent my application to Buffallo office and they have sent my application back asking to provide an evidence that I have been lawfully admitted to Canada.(I have sent my application when I have workpermit validity august 2008) Now I have work permit extended for one more year.

My question is , should I need to fill a fresh application and send? or I can use the same application which I have sent before and attach the workpermit copy.
Please advise.

Simply fill out the first page (you will see at the top right corner, they would have written some official jargon) and replace, and resend with cover letter indicating you've attached required documentation
