Restoring status refused

Hello

My restoration status got refused as my passport got old while they were processing my application, but I got a new passport before I got a decision now. Am i able to re-apply for restoration status with new passport tho?

And i am opening own business that does not require work permit, would this help my processs?

You lost your status January 9th - right? If so, far too late to apply for restoration again at this point. You can only apply within 90 days of losing your status. Unfortunately your only option now is to leave Canada.

Yes but i did reapply with wrong application first and later restoration as i was told that it is the right one. I got today refused decision when i applied my restoration status on March 23th

It's too late to reapply. Your 90 days ran out on April 9th.

Your status expired January 9th, so as scylla said, you are long past being able to apply for Restoration.

You need to leave Canada.
