Restoration time of 90 days after PGWP expires.

Hello Everybody,
1. Do we get 90 days of restoration time after our PGWP expires?

2. Do we have to stay in Canada while our file is under process under OINP or we can leave country because of PGWP expired and come back once we get PR under OINP?

i wud suggest apply paper based bowp which has a processing time of 90 days before your wp expires and you can be on implied status,by then if you are confidant of getting your pnp then you can email the approved document to immigration at the time of decision...... write letter of explanation putting your case and attach with your paper application..........

I have a similar question for my friend. Her PNP under OINP masters stream is approved and she is in the process of gathering documents for federal PR application.

Now her PGWP is expiring in first week of feb 2017. Can she apply PR and leave Canada till she get her federal PR ? She would like to go to Home country rather getting closed WP.

Can she apply for visitor visa while waiting for PR outside Canada, if she needs to travel to Canada?

As long as her OINP got approved and has OINP letter, she needs to apply for Brdging WP. BOWP application is only valid if she provides copy of OINP letter as a proof or if she has PR file number if file is already submitted in Federal.

Now, after submitting file in Federal, it will take 60 to 70 days to get file number so I suggest to submit OINP letter and reciept of PR application fees as a proof to get Closed WP.
