Restoration of TRV

Hi There,

My Canadian work permit and temporary resident visa expired on 30th Jan 2015. I would like to know what's the fastest way for me to get a new work permit. Also since I'm self employed (with only 1 employee in my company) I don't have LMIA form to go with my application for 'Restoration of TRV as a worker'.

I did apply for my PR under CEC class but it got rejected as they reached their yearly quota for the year. Also I have 90 days (means till April 31st 2015) to apply for a TRV restoration.

Now I'm thinking to apply for PR under Family sponsorship as my husband is a Canadian citizen. I'm aware of the fact that I can apply for an open work permit once I receive AOR for my new PR application under Spouse class. But is there a faster way to apply for a Work permit?

Can you please advise?

Fastest way would be to find an employer who is willing to offer you a full time job and has/is able to obtain an approved LMIA - and forget about self employment.
