Restoration of Temporary Resident Status/LMO file number/expired work permit

Hello, my work permit expired January 12, 2011 and I received my confirmation file number in my LMO last January 28, 2011. I send my application February 2, 2011 for my renewing my working permit in the same employer but I will not apply for my restoration of status because I don't know if I will include to apply my restoration of status. Do I need to apply for my restoration of status? And what will I'm gonna do? Can you help me? What processing I'm gonna do to apply for this?

You need to apply for restoration of status if your WP was expired when you sent your WP app. You also should stop working as you don't have implied status.

Tick "D" and don't forget the fee ($200.00) and the documents that need to be submitted. You could just have made one application but two services (WP/Restoration) .

I have a problem and really worried. I'm in the process of PR and OWP which submitted August 4, '10. My work permit expired last Nov. 7, 2010. I applied extension of work permit dated Nov. 19, 2010 and paid $150 only. The reason why i applied because i will take my vacation in philippines by April and need valid working permit so i can apply for re entry visa going back here in canada. Should i really pay also restoration fee $200? when i called to immigration they said send the documents by paper and receipt of $150 and explain it that im in the processing of PR. I dont want to delay my application for extension work permit coz i really have to take my vacation on april urgently. If ever, how to send the $200 in fast way because I know sooner they will open my application coz the processing time now is on October 11 for work permit for same employer. Pls advise me.. thanks in advance.
