I have some questions pertaining to restoration of study permit. The issue is my study permit had expired recently. Hence, I was planning on going back to my native country and reapply for a new study permit. In rout while going back, I had a transit in US. But US denied me entry and handed me to Canadian Border security. They let me go after handing me Report under Subsection 44(1). Since this has happened, I have proceeded with my restoration application from with in Canada. So, when personal from Immigration will call me for a case hearing, will they still hand me a departure order or will they have to wait for the result of my restoration application.
