Hello everyone, this is my first post so I'll get to the point. I am an international student currently at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON. My study permit expired late last year and I am about to put in a restoration request. My main problem now is that my fiances are looking really bad, CIC requests a bank statement from a Canadian bank in my name dating back the last four months. I've been here for about two years so this isnt a problem but for the last 6 months my parents have been having problems back home with fiances. I have proof of payment for my last academic term but even that was a late payment. international student fees are extremely high here. My point is, if I get about $10, 000 in my account before my 90 days are up and I submit my statement at that point, what are my chances of successful getting a renewal granted, despite my account being in bad standing for the rest of the statements time period? How much of a factor do fiances play in the decisions. This is my first renewal and restoration request and I have met every other requirement.. suggestions?
