Hi,

So my case is a bit tricky... I worked as an EA to CEO with XYZ company in July 2018 (date of my AOR).
However, post that by August 2018
1. My expat manager moved to a different country
2. I got promoted and moved to a new role as Manager telesales.

I have now resigned (27th May being my last working day) and am between jobs....

What should I do? I have informed CIC of my resignation but BGV hasn't started and I am concerned...

@legalfalcon pls advice

Checking if you submitted your application post ITA ?

I think its ok, as long as CIC can verify the work exp that you are claiming points for that you submitted in your application.

That's true.... As on 15th July 2018 I was an EA as claimed in my profile...

I think it should be fine. If you points and eligibility are based on your past experience, resignations and change of jobs should d not affect their decision.

I just got ITA and I plan to change to a job of a different NOC in the next few months.

However, your AOR is almost a year ago. Any reason for the prolonged process?

Your resignation will have no impact on your application as your application is locked when it is filed.

As regards your work reference letter, when IRCC if at all contacts your employer, they will also contact you. But this is very rare.
